In 1959 Racke launched its whisky brand Racke Rauchzart (Finesmoked), which is one of the important whiskies in the German market. Its finesmoked taste smoothness helped to become tremendously successful. Racke Rauchzart is distilled from Scottish malts and grains and matured in Scotland following traditional whisky-producing methods. The quality control, as well as the blending and bottling are however made in Germany according to prevailing progressive methods.
Racke Rauchzart is the only Racke brand actually using the 5th generation run family name Racke. Consequently, it stands for tradition and constancy of the Racke company.
