This miniature is called "Celtic Desire", not a real Dutch name. But here is the story behind the whisk(e)y, as described to me by its blender Martin Mens.
The idea for Celtic Desire originated when Martin was on holiday in Scotland. Tasting some Scottish whiskies on his holiday, and being familiar with most Irish whiskies, he thought it might be a good idea to put some of them together.
He designed his own labels and because he put together the best of both (Irish and Scotch) worlds, he named his whisk(e)y Celtic Desire. So the label was there, but what about the whisk(e)y. To acquire his favourite taste he started blending some whiskies. It took about a year to acquire his favourite blend, which he tested on some of his friends. As the result was to his satisfaction, he recorded the recipe and the Celtic Desire was born.
