KININVIE DISTILLERY PICTURES 2006

Probably one of the lesser known distilleries, Kininvie is the third malt of William Grant & Sons. Just like their other two distilleries Glenfiddich and Balvenie, located in Dufftown. All 3 distilleries are next to each other.

†††††††† Although Kininvie is in fact not more than a still house. The rest of the process, mash tun and wash backs are located at the Balvenie distillery. Sadly enough I havenít seen the distillery house, but the rest of the distilling process located at the Balvenie distillery is shown down here.

†††††††† During my visit to the Balvenie distillery, I was able to get some pictures from the first official Kininvie distillery bottling. It is a special bottling under the name Hazelwood. The bottling was made to celebrate the 105th anniversary of Janet Sheed Roberts, granddaughter of William Grant, founder of William Grant & Sons.
